Austin Seven Choke

Choke in the 'Off' position

The photograph above shows one of the simple choke arrangements used on the Austin Seven.

Note the small slot located at the bottom of the hole.

Choke in the 'On' position

Note the small brass fitting (like that used on the rim end of a bicycle spoke) fitted on the choke wire to act as a choke lock.
